Forms of Compensation 1-20

Forms of Compensation is a series of paperbacks exploring the potential interpretations of their title. The photographs on their covers and within are taken from a reference book for architectural draftsmen.  The source book contains over 1000 photographs arranged over 248 pages, placed in tight grids and organized thematically from figures, vehicles, plants, trees and environments, with subheadings for each.
Here, the sequence of the images has remained largely intact, but spread out over twenty 104-page paperbacks with illustrations on every other page. Also included within each book is one or two images of well regarded works of architecture. These are preceded by two blank pages and unlike the other images are printed on the left hand page with the right page blank.
